A VISIT TO LEGOLAND @ 22092012

I bought the promotion ticket thru online somewhere in March, but only have a chance to visit Legoland on 220912. I redeemed in on 1st September and thought i can get access but during that time there was a private event so just look from outside.

Last Saturday i just call it just a preview la sbb i bought annual pass so still have time till 31st Dec 2013. Need not to worry and not to rushing...LOL.

Actually i wants to share some flower and plants photos that i took during the visit and don't want to talk about Legoland and the attraction sbb semua dah tau apa ada di sana...kalau tak tau please refer here la...

Geram tengok bunga2 yang cantik...rasa macam nak ambil bawak balik....and can't wait pokok bunga butang kat rumah membesar...so jeles tengok bunga2 yang cantik....hopefully my pokok bunga butang pun akan berbunga cam tu....HOPEFULLY....

MAMAN OR MAMAM?

I dunno it was called mamam coz since kecik2 dulu mmg panggil maman...jeruk maman...kalau makan nasi tak cukup 2 pinggan. Mamam tu nama lain utk makan....so kalau nak cakap.."Saya suka mamam maman". Means "I like to eat maman"....haha..

Pokok Maman atau nama sainsnya Cleome gynandra adalah sejenis sayuran yang ditanam secara meluas terutama di Terengganu dan Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. Ia juga ditanam sebagai sayuran di kawasan tertentu di Asia dan Afrika. Malah dikatakan nama Kemaman adalah dari nama maman. Di Negeri Sembilan, di antara kawasan tanaman utama maman adalah di Gemencheh. Kawasan ini termasuklah Kg Sri Asahan, Pekan Gemencheh , Kg Gedok, Sg Dua, Gemencheh lama, Kg. Sungai Kepong higga ke kg Sg Salah, termasuk juga Gugusan Felda Rokan.

so i stick to call it maman because mamam tu i used to say makan or eat...whatever la...

Tara....ni la rupa jeruk mamam yg siap utk di mamam (makan).My style kalau makan, suka tambah sedikit belacan bakar n tenyeh2 kan cili padi...fuh berdesup. 2 pinggan pun belum tentu cukup nasi. Nak lagi syiok makan dengan ikan goreng or ikan bakar or ikan panggang...nikmatnya pemberian Allah. Alhamdulillah....

Kalau di kampung, my auntie yang selalu buatkan jeruk maman nih...i just tolong cabutkan daun maman jerk... This recipes i took from

Jeruk Maman
Bahan2:-
-Seikat pokok maman..
-Garam secukup rasa.
-Sedikit nasi.
-Sedikit air(sekadar tenggelam daun maman)

Cara-cara membuatnya:-
1-Potong maman seperti potong pucuk paku,kemudian bersihkan dan toskan(sejatkan).
2-Masukkan Garam Kasar dan nasik lalu ramas dan gaulkan sebati.
3-Masukkan sedikit air ,sekadar tenggelam daun2 maman tadi.
4-Simpan di dalam bekas bertutup.
5-Selepas 24 jam ,atau selepas daun maman bertukar warna,boleh lah dimakan.
6-Untuk hiasan hidangan,potong cabai melaka dan bawang kecik .
7-Siap untuk dimakan.Cubalah.

I learnt sumthing during this process...PLEASE..... LABEL when u sow the seeds...if not end up like me...confused sudah....dat day 17th September 2012 i remembered that i sow kangkung, kailan, sawi, daun sup, and thyme...kalau tak silap front row thyme tapi mcm tak tumbuh jerk.... ;-(

MY 1ST SOWING EXPERIENCED.....

Ulam raja is actually my first sowing seeds experience. It was given my brother in law last hari raya. Frankly speaking when he gave me that seeds i'm kindda questions myself.."can it grow from that"? But i've just took the seeds back.When arrived home i've just throw the seeds into my pot, following my bro in law advice...by watering it more often to help it grows...after 2 days i'm so excited to see the seeds starts to grow and i did message my bro in law to tell him "good news"...haha...so excited.....actually...

Love to eat ulam raja like this......with tempoyak (fermented durian) & cili padi...better to have ikan goreng...wallah....2 pinggan nasi tak cukup beb...

STARTING MY "NEW" HOBBY

Actually this hobby is not new to me. Since i was in Form 3, i like to plant some vegetables at the backyard of my house. During that day the 1st veggie that i plant was kangkung or water spinach. I love to eat kangkung and thats why i planted it off course ;-). My favourite dishes is kangkung goreng belacan.

And....this is my kangkung that i planted on 15/9/12 if i'm not mistaken...forgot already...huhuhu...At the begining when i planted the seeds, i'm afraid that the soil is not suitable. Through my reading i applied some knowledge to make sure i'm on the right track. I did combine the soil and add some fertilizer...i bought baja tahi kambing....some said baja tahi ayam is better but i can't take the smell...LOL walau kambing tu dah terkenal busuk tapi bab ehem kambing lagi ok...LOL

I'm sooooo xcited to see my kangkung are growing like that in just one nite....so amazing...the bottom one i took on 21/9/12 about 6pm and the above on 22/9/12 at 7am. Alhamdulillah my kangkung grow well so far and can't wait to eat my own kangkung goreng belacan....
